Every year around this time I begin to feel a bit... creatively blocked. I think winter affects a lot of people in this way. The sun rarely shines, it's been snowing for far longer than we'd hoped, and as much as you'd like to stay put in your warm bed everyday, life still goes on. So, this year I decided to do something about that... blockage.
I texted my friend Laura Conrad (who happens to be a model... how lucky am I as a photographer to have a close friend who models?!) we picked a date and I asked around for some help. Luckily, I had some incredibly talented people agree to collaborate! Katrina Tuttle Bridal chose one of her gorgeous gowns for Laura to wear. Oh Dina! created an amazing hair piece. Alicia Melanson gave up her busy Saturday morning to style Laura's hair. Liam Goulding dipped his toe in modelling waters for the first time and wowed us all. Humble Burdock created the most jaw-dropping bouquet, and Barrington Steak House allowed us to use their space to shoot in for as long as we wanted!
I can't thank these people enough! I am pretty happy with how everything came together, especially since the plan was to shoot outside! Everyone was super helpful and accommodating and in the end it went along smoother than I had ever imagined.
If any of you are reading, thank you so much! And to everyone else reading, please check out these awesome people, they will make your wildest wedding dreams come true!
